I'm Jess, 21 year old brand new mother to a baby boy named Philip Alexander! I'm inspired by the macabre and creepy and the countercultures that come with it. I'm also very political and angry. I fucking hate ignorance. This will become evident.

I try my best to fight oppressions of all spectrums, including but not limited to activism for indigenous rights/respect, fat positivism & sex positivism, socialism, american dissidence, and against anti-queer bigotry, racism, xenophobia, ableism, assimilation, and misogyny/trans misogyny, and the intersectionalities that exist within them.

I also post lots of lulzy things. I'm not always the PC police, but I am when I see oppressive shit! I smash you! Other interests include gothy, alternative, darkly inclined aesthetics, bats, raccoons, owls, bunnies, tattoos, non-tribal appropriative body mods, BDSM, attachment parenting (like breastfeeding and intactivism), cute animals, food pr0nz, and of course, my baby boy. I mostly post things of this nature but weeve in the political things when I get the chance. I am a busy full time student and mama.

Long live the che cafe

i honestly sometimes feel so spoiled being able to have a venue as amazing as the che cafe be less then a 20 minute drive from where i live. if you live in san diego and appreciate the DIY culture or music scene YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS FESTIVAL no excuses. stop pretending to care and start doing something that proves you care.

Maybe if the people who ran it weren’t so snobby and elite-ist more people would go to shows/events/functions there and it wouldn’t struggle so much. Just a thought from a guy who used to frequent the Che before it became what it is today.

I honestly love the che one of my favorite places in sd.
The che is like my second home. Please help save it! I’ve donated a bit, and you should too!

I’ve heard the same thing about the snobbery. But I’ve yet to go there myself yet, and it’s always enticed me. Maybe I’ll check it out when I get the chance!
